Timeline of Educational Influences

This assignment is from my History of Education class in my first semester in the Bachelor of Education program. It was an beneficial exercise for me, as it provided me with a reflective road map that charted my personal experiences that have shaped my pedagogical approach. I was able to hone in on the specific experiences that directly or indirectly led me where I am now. For example, I remembered that my high school history teacher told me that I could possibly be a history teacher one day because of how passionate I was about the subject. Now as an educator I will have the opportunity to be that source of inspiration for my students and can influence their futures in a positive direction, like my high school teacher did for me.
